PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust emitting colors at the time of using a camera and to adjust color balance at the time of photographing by simple apparatus constitution. SOLUTION: A portable apparatus comprises a 1st illumination device 1 arranged near a camera 3 and allowed to be used as an auxiliary illumination part, a 2nd illumination device 7 for illuminating an operation part, an illuminance sensor 4 for receiving peripheral light and illumination light, drive circuits 2, 6 for respectively driving the 1st and 2nd illumination devices 1, 7, and a switching means 5 for switching an output from the illuminance sensor 4 from the drive circuit 6 to the drive circuit 2 at the time of receiving operation menu specification from the camera 3.
