PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor driving device that makes it possible to reduce the vibrations and noise of a stepping motor without performing complex control for the control of an asynchronous, multi-channel stepping motor and without degrading the noise-reducing effect at the time of low-speed revolutions, and that shortens the time required for the adjustment of auto focusing. SOLUTION: This stepping motor driving device is made up of a serial data communications control circuit 1, DAC circuits 2, 3, stepping motor drive circuits 4, 5, and a stepping motor 7. In this device, binarized three-wire signals (CLK, DATA, ENAB) that are output from a CPU and the like are input into the serial data communications control circuit 1, which converts the three-wire signals (CLK, DATA, ENAB) into parallel signals to control the DAC circuits 2, 3.
