PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monocle device and binoculars device with which imaging with separate optical system is possible when imaging with an observation optical system is not carried out. SOLUTION: The device is equipped with a pair of the observation optical system and another optical system. Also, a viewfinder for another optical system is installed thereto. An imager is switched and inserted by a lens switching lever into the imaging plane positions of the observation optical system and another optical system. The switch of the imager is turned on and off by the switch lever. In the case of an observation mode with the observation optical system, the imager exists in the imaging plane position of another optical system. In the case of the photographing mode with the observation optical system, the imager is inserted to the imaging plane position of the observation optical system. Photographing is made possible by switching on of the imager. In the photographing with another optical system, the imager is inserted to the imaging plane position of another optical system and the photographing is made possible by switching on of the imager.
