PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast program production apparatus, particularly, capable of producing, editing, adjusting and switching broadcast programs with one person or minimum staffs. SOLUTION: A plurality of cameras or cameras with platforms, a plurality of external resources, an external information resource such as an external studio and a relay wagon, a microphone or the Internet sent via a cellular phone and FAX or a telephone line, and a human interface which is operated with announcements to output a command for controlling a processor are connected to the processor. Serial digital signals are used as audio signals or image signals inputted from the external information source to the processor and a control signal for controlling the external information source. Furthermore, the processor includes a communication function of two-way communication with external information, a function of switching and selecting external information from the external information source, and a display screen for displaying the switched and selected external information thereon. An announcer becomes an operator while announcing and is capable of producing, editing and broadcasting a broadcast program by him or herself while operating the processor via the human interface or directly.
