PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the performance of an image reader by simple control. SOLUTION: An image processor for processing both-side images of an original read by the image reader carries out the control of inputting the images of the original read by the image reader and shifting the images of the inputted original at least either in a main scanning direction or a sub scanning direction by the prescribed number of pixels according to processing surfaces of the images of the inputted original and the reading system of the original.
