PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device in which the life of a primary battery can remarkably be prolonged without suppressing the current consumption of a load to very small. SOLUTION: The power supply device comprises: a first circuit wherein an anode of a first diode D1 is connected to an electromotive force output terminal of the primary battery 11 that outputs an output voltage higher than a power supply voltage of the load; a second circuit wherein an anode of a secondary diode D2 is connected to an electromotive force output terminal of a first photoelectric cell 12 that generates an output voltage higher than an output voltage of the primary battery 11; and a third circuit wherein an electric double-layer capacitor 15 is charged with the electromotive force of a second photoelectric cell 13 that generates the output voltage of the primary battery 11, and a charging voltage of the electric double-layer capacitor 15 is fed to the anode side of a third diode D3. A cathode of the first diode D1, a cathode of the second diode and a cathode of the third diode are commonly connected, and a voltage at the common connecting point is made to be an output power supply voltage.
