Provided is a communication system in which an I2C slave 10 and an I2C master 30 are connected by a serial clock SCL which propagates a clock signal which is transmitted from the I2C master 30 and a serial data SDA which transmits data in duplex, said communication system comprising: a first signal line 41 which configures a portion of the serial data SDA and transmits prescribed data from the I2C master 30 to the I2C slave 10; a second signal line 42 which configures a portion of the serial data SDA and transmits prescribed data from the I2C slave 10 to the I2C master 30; a first signal line selecting unit 51 and a second signal line selecting unit 52 which select that either the first signal line or the second signal line will be in effect as the serial data SDA; and a signal control unit 31 which controls a selection action in the signal line selecting units. |
