PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive automatic balance adjusting device having a simple constitution, having high reliability, and having the long service life. SOLUTION: In this automatic balance adjusting device 2, a travel passage 18 is arranged around the rotational axis A of a rotary system; at least one balance adjuster 20 is movably arranged in the travel passage 18; an elastic fixing means is arranged along this balance adjuster; when a rotating speed of the rotary system is lower than a predetermined threshold value, this fixing means presses and fixes at least one balance adjuster 20 to an inward movement limit surface 26 of the travel passage 18. The travel passage 18 is defined by two rolling surfaces 22a and 22b mutually inclined so as to narrow in the centrifugal force direction F of at least one balance adjuster 20 when viewed in a cross section and the elastic fixing means. The fixing means is arranged between the two rolling surfaces 22a and 22b. The balance adjuster 20 is pressed in the direction of the inward movement limiting surface 26 in the opposite direction of the centrifugal force direction F by separating from the rolling surfaces 22a and 22b.
