PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter circuit system for a display device, of which the cold cathode tube current will not change due to changes in the temperature or the like, and unevenness in brightness, caused by the unevenness in the oscillation frequency of the inverter or leakage current of the cold cathode tube, will not be generated, and further, overloading is not given to a switching element. SOLUTION: In the inverter circuit system for a display device, primary side current is interrupted completely at burst light control by using switch control elements 6, 7, and operated so as to be turned into a minimum, by switching a feedback voltage into a fixed voltage 16 for burst light control in a feedback voltage switching circuit 18.
