PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine provided with cylinder-lubricating equipment by which lubrication is conducted at a required lubrication timing and in a required quantity to each lubricator or lubricating position independently of one another without having effect on the normal lubricating operation, even if malfunction is generated in the lubricator, and further, timing and quantity of lubrication or a lubrication rate can be regulated on consideration of all of the properties of the lubricating oil and the pressure of lubrication even during operation of the engine to reduce consumption of the lubricating oil. SOLUTION: The lubricating oil force-fed by a lubricating-oil pump is held in a common oil-feeding part, the oil in the common oil-feeding part is fed through oil-feeding paths connecting a plurality of lubricators placed in the cylinders of the engine and the common oil-feeding part. Thus, in the internal combustion engine provided with cylinder lubricating equipment, the lubricating oil is fed from the lubricators into the inside of the cylinders. The internal combustion engine is characterized by being provided with a controller. A plurality of solenoid-operated open/close valves are placed in order to open/close each oil-feeding path to the lubricators, and the timing and period of time for opening the solenoid-operated valves are controlled independently of one another.
