PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display medical images without being accompanied by the degradation of image quality in the case of displaying the medical images in various sizes. SOLUTION: In the case of magnifying or reducing the medical images stepwise and displaying them at an image display device 2, a control part 21 decides an interpolation magnification to be an integer or the reciprocal of the integer corresponding to the instruction of magnification or reduction inputted from an input part 22, executes an interpolation processing to the medical image by the interpolation magnification and displays the medical image at a display part 23.
