PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small electro-optical conversion module with a cooling function whose number of components is less. SOLUTION: The electro-optical conversion module includes a semiconductor device 72 which transmits/ receives a light signal, a stem 73s which fixes its semiconductor device 72, a cap 73c which covers the semiconductor device 72, and a lead 76 which applies an electric signal to the semiconductor 72 or transmits an electric signal from the semiconductor device 72. An peltier element 3 and a radiator means 2, which is composed of a heat conduction component 4 for heat absorption and heat conduction component 5 for radiation positioned on both sides of the peltier element 3, are located on the stem 73s, and the semiconductor device 72 is located on the heat conduction component 4 for heat absorption.
