STRUCTURE MAINTENANCE APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: conventional maintenance work for a structure is very difficult or impossible because of degraded working efficiency due to requirements of setting of scaffolding or because of highly dangerous working conditions for workers depending on circumferential environmental conditions. SOLUTION: There is provided a structure maintenance apparatus which is comprised of a plurality of guide rails 1 arranged almost in parallel with surfaces W of a structure C as an object for maintenance, and maintenance sections 2 movably arranged on the guide rails 1. Herein each maintenance section 2 is formed of a main body 20 mounted on the guide rail 1 and slidable in a direction at right angles to the guide rail 1, and a maintenance body 21 reciprocatively movable in a guide rail 1 traveling direction with respect to the main body 20.
