PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a moisture absorbing and releasing and heat generating fiber colored in an arbitrary hue and a uniformly colored blended yarn. SOLUTION: The moisture absorbing and releasing and heat generating fiber colored in an arbitrary hue is obtained by polymerizing a blend monomer composed of a raw material monomer of an acrylic fiber and pigment particles to give a spinning liquid, spinning the spinning liquid to give a pigment colored acrylic fiber, introducing a crosslinking structure to the pigment-colored acrylic fiber and hydrolyzing the acrylic fiber into which the crosslinking structure is introduced. The uniformly colored blended yarn is produced by subjecting the colored moisture absorbing and releasing and heat generating fiber and another fiber to mixed spinning to give a blended yarn, then dying the blended yarn or subjecting the colored moisture absorbing and releasing and heat generating fiber and a previously dyed fiber to mixed spinning.
