The vehicle has two connections units for connecting a door (1) to a truck box, where the units are placed on respective opening/closing axes (2, 2`) of a door. Each connection unit has two hinge-pins fixed on the truck box. The door has two set of hooks (7, 8, 7`, 8`) with control mechanisms (4, 4`) connected to actuators (9, 9`) to control the hooks such that the door can be opened around one axis according to choice. Each hinge pin has an outer surface that, when the door is in locked position, is held between a complementary guiding surface of the hook and another complementary guiding surface of the door. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for assembling a motor vehicle.
