The package has two open shells (1, 2), and two parallel hinges (3a, 3b) connected to a corresponding side wall (1g) of the respective shell (1) by oblique facets (1i, 2i). The shells have peripheral edges comprising peripheral overflowing parts (1e, 2e) that strongly offset the hinges. The hinges and an intermediate wall define a plane support surface on which the package rests in a closed position.
