The apparatus has a chassis (1) connected to a vehicle structure (10) by telescopic jacks (8) with three rods. The chassis carries hollow corrugated rollers (2) by spring suspension, where the rollers drive a track (3) which carries rubber tread blocks (4) and suction cups (5) that are supported on the ground. The jacks with double effect permit to lower the chassis towards the ground and to raise the chassis towards vehicle platform.
