PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing composed of compressed wood capable of reducing humidity in the housing and the occurrence of dew condensation in the housing. SOLUTION: The housing 10 is constituted so as to hold an electronic part in the space part 11 surrounded by a front panel 12 and a rear panel 13 and a moisture absorbing part 30 having groove parts 31 is formed to the opposed inner surfaces of the space part 11 in the front and rear panels 12 and 13.
