PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge recovery device for an inkjet recorder which can suppress the evaporation of an ink solvent in a recording head discharge opening by restricting effects onto the evaporation of the ink solvent due to creeping of a tube, without costs raised. SOLUTION: The discharge recovery device for the inkjet recorder has a clamping region and a sealing region at a joint part of a cap holder which connects a joint tube. In the clamping region, a cap holder joint outer diameter is larger than a tube inner diameter, and a tube inner wall clamps the cap holder joint part, so that the tube is fixed to the cap holder joint part. In the sealing region, an outer diameter of the cap holder joint part is the same size as the tube inner diameter or smaller than the outer diameter of the cap holder joint part in the clamping region although it is larger than the tube inner diameter, and an outer wall of the cap holder joint part adheres to the tube inner wall, so that an ink passage of the cap holder is blocked from the open air.
