PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process method for a printing plate of high productivity and with less likely contamination of a brush. SOLUTION: A developing brush 18 has development sludge depositing on the top end of the brush, immediately after the top of the developing brush 18 is used for peeling development of the surface of a PS plate 22. The development sludge is dispersed into dropped developing water by the shock caused by holes of a perforated plate 12. In this state, by removing the water at the top of the brush, the development sludge dispersed in the water is also removed. Therefore, the development sludge dispersed in water can be removed together with water 23, by dropping the developing water in an excess amount than a required amount for development, pressing the brush to the perforated plate 12 under a predetermined pressure and squeezing the water 23 at the top of the brush. The removed water 23 flows and falls outside the perforated plate 12, received by a receiving plate 16, and is made to flow in the side, that is, in the axial direction of the developing brush 18 and discharged or recovered (as shown in hatched arrow in Figure). Thus, the water containing the development sludge is prevented from dropping on the film surface of the PS plate 22 prior to the development. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
