PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To capture and store a binarized image without damaging color components of an object. SOLUTION: There are provided an imaging system including a lens optical system 12 and a CCD 13 for capturing a color image; an image processing section 27 for dividing the color image obtained by the imaging system into constituent color components, setting a threshold for each divided color component, binarizing the image and reconstructing the image binarized for each color component as one piece of color image data; and a control section 22 for storing the color image data which are obtained by the image processing section 27, on a memory card 28.
