METHOD OF MANUFACTURING AUSTENITIC LIGHT-WEIGHT HIGH-STRENGTH STEEL WITH EXCELLENT PROPERTIES OF WELDS

Disclosed is a method of manufacturing austenitic light-weight high-strength steel with excellent properties of welds. According to the present invention, the method of manufacturing austenitic light-weight high-strength steel comprises the following steps of: (a) hot rolling steel which comprises 20-30 wt% of manganese (Mn), 6-12 wt% of aluminum (Al), 0.6-1.5 wt% of carbon (C), 0.02-0.06 wt% of niobium (Nb), 0.3-0.95 wt% of vanadium (V), and the remainder consisting of iron (Fe) and inevitable impurities; (b) uniformalizing the hot rolled steel; and (c) aging treating the uniformalized steel.
