The preset disclosure relates to a system configured to process a part image, comprising a graphic image of parts and references to individual parts, and a associated method. More in particular, the present disclosure proposes to generate an overlay from the parts image using a detector configured to recognize at least the references to the individual parts in the received parts image; a generator configured to generate an overlay, with said overlay comprising hyperlink areas corresponding in at least position with the references to the individual parts.
