APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MONITORING AND EXTERMINATING INSECT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method capable of being installed on the ground and simply and efficiently monitoring and exterminating activity of insects. SOLUTION: The apparatus for monitoring and/or exterminating insects comprises a first encircling body connected to a second encircling body kept in a form in which the most part extends beyond the first encircling body. The method for monitoring and/or exterminating insects comprises using the apparatus. The disturbance of insect bait in an insect base is reduced and various selection is made possible by installing the insect base on the ground adjacently to an area believed to be damaged by propagation of insects.
