PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rope attaching tool for fallen trees enabling a user to easily and surely attach a rope for a fallen tree to a tree through a ground-based operation with no need of climbing the tree. SOLUTION: The rope attaching tool for fallen trees 10 is provided with a hook-shaped hook material 14 for hooking the trunk or the branch of a tree 12, a handling pole 16 for carrying the hook material to a desired height of the tree while keeping the hook material on its end part, and a rope for a fallen tree 18 tied at the base of the hook material at the side where the handling pole is attached. The hook material and the handling pole are each provided with an attaching/detaching mechanism 22 for separating the hook material from the handling pole after hanging the hook material on the tree. The attaching/detaching mechanism comprises a projecting part 24 formed at the base of the hook material and an insertion hole 26 formed at the end part of the handling pole so that the projecting part is inserted into the insertion hole to join the hook material and the handling pole.
