PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid dynamic pressure bearing capable of preventing adhesion and flowing-out of an adhesive to a part excluding a specific filling part in fixing a sleeve to a case by the adhesive, reducing the man-hour in manufacturing the case, keeping high quality, improving mass-productivity and reducing the cost. SOLUTION: A shaft body 2 having a flange part at its one end part is rotatably supported by a sleeve 5 having a dynamic pressure generating groove 11 on its inner peripheral part, through a radial direction micro clearance, the flange part 4 is inserted between a lower end face of the sleeve 5 provided with a dynamic pressure generating groove 12 and an upper face of an end plate 7 provided with a dynamic pressure generating groove 13, and an upper face of an end plate 7 and a lower face of the flange part 4 are facing each other through respective thrust direction micro clearances. The end plate 7 is fitted to a lower end part of the case 6, and the sleeve 5 is fitted to the case 6 in a state of being projected from an upper end face of the case 6 at its upper end face, and fixed to an upper end part of the case 6 at its outer peripheral face.
