PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce in size and simplify the construction of a voltage fluctuation compensator so designed that, when the voltage of a three-phase alternating-current power source 1 drops, compensation voltage is superimposed on the supply voltage to compensate for the voltage fluctuation in a load 2. SOLUTION: A first voltage-generating means 3 and a second voltage-generating means 4 are respectively connected in series with phase-A and -B power sources. The power supply-side line voltages V<SB>AB</SB>and V<SB>BC</SB>are monitored. When these voltages drop, a voltage equivalent to the voltage drop is generated as a compensating voltage by the first voltage generating meas 3 and the second voltage generating means 4. At the same time, load-side line voltage VL<SB>CA</SB>is detected, and the output of the first voltage-generating means 3 is adjusted with a phase correcting means 9 to correct the phase of load-side line voltage VL<SB>AB</SB>so that VL<SB>CA</SB>becomes equal to a predetermined voltage value.
