FIELD: bridge building, particularly to erect bridge span structure. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves assembling bridge span structure; transporting thereof by floating vehicle; lifting the bridge span structure and installing thereof on piers. The floating vehicle is moved in water pool along with floating vehicle movement fixation above pier structures installed on water pool bottom. The floating vehicle is submersed in water to locate it on the pier structures. The bridge span structure is assembled in standstill mode with the use of the floating vehicle as rigid support arranged under the bridge span structure. Surfaces of support members arranged on floating vehicle deck mate in contour with that of lower surface of the span structure. The support members are provided with fixers projecting from the members. The floating vehicle is removed from the pier structures by floating vehicle with bridge span structure movement upwards in water to install the span structure on bridge piers. The floating vehicle is moved upwards by evacuating water from the floating vehicle. Then the floating vehicle is arranged in bridge section and moved down to install the bridge span structure on bridge piers. The floating vehicle lowering is continued until enough space between span structure and floating vehicle is achieved and after that the floating vehicle is moved from under the span structure. ^ EFFECT: extended range of functional capabilities, simplified span structure transportation and reduced labor inputs for span structure erection. ^ 5 cl, 2 ex, 11 dwg |
