PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid composition for extreme pressure property uses. SOLUTION: This fluid composition comprises a base oil, and an additive package containing a sulfidized fatty oil in an amount sufficient to give about 1,000 ppm of sulfur to the fluid and a dialkylthiadiazole in an amount sufficient to give about 500 ppm of sulfur to the fluid. The fluid comprising the sulfidized fatty oil and the dialkylthiadiazole in the above-mentioned amounts, respectively, exhibits a rejected load of about 1,750 pounds or more measured by ASTM D-3233 Falex EP test at 100 to 150°C.
