PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heavy-duty pneumatic radial tire to reduce the separation trouble generated at the folding part of a carcass ply of the bead part without increasing the weight of the bead, prevent the blow failure and exceptionally improve the bead durability by using a reinforcing rubber composition having excellent creep resistance (permanent deformation) and heat resistance at the bead part. SOLUTION: The reinforcing rubber composition for tire is used as the reinforcing rubber 14 to be placed between a ply folding part 12a and a rubber chafer 13 positioned outside the ply folding part 12a of a carcass 12, opposite to the upper part of a rim flange 40 in the state of the tire attached to a normal rim, and on the outer face of the bead part 10. The composition contains a rubber component composed of natural rubber and polybutadiene rubber and N,N'-diphenylmethane bismaleimide (BMI).
