PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an on-vehicle hands-free device to manage telephone directory data by mobile telephone sets. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle hands-free device equipped with a flash memory 7 which stores telephone directory data including telephone number data and identification data of mobile telephone sets specifies identification data of a mobile telephone set to be connected (step 310), selects and reads out telephone directory data corresponding to the specified identification data among a plurality of telephone directory data stored in the flash memory (step 320), selectively displays the contents of the selected telephone directory data in a selectable state on an operation device (step 330), and dials a telephone number when the telephone number is selected out of the displayed telephone numbers (steps 340 and 350).
