PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a side-mounted apparatus in which a box 50 can be easily mounted to a case 10 without adjusting a lateral width W, and further, any unnatural force is not loaded to the box 50 and a built-in component 30. SOLUTION: The side-mounted apparatus comprises the box 50 with a plurality of through-holes 52 for driving self tapping screws 12 formed on both side faces 51, 51 and the built-in component 30 housed in the box 50, and the side-mounted apparatus is mounted to the case 10 by driving the self tapping screws 12 into the through-holes 52. On both side faces 51, 51 of the box 50, each of the through-holes 52 is formed with a slit 53 to the through-hole so as to surround three sides of the though-hole. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
