PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a booster device capable of effectively preventing the overshooting of output voltage in an initial condition without increasing manufacturing cost and causing an unstable condition of output voltage. SOLUTION: A microcomputer 11 is provided with an initial condition determining part 35 for determining whether the booster device is in the initial condition or not and a target voltage compensation computing part 36 for compensating target voltage Vout* based on the determination. The target voltage compensation computing part 36 compensates target voltage Vout* to increase target voltage Vout* * after compensation from power supply voltage to predetermined voltage VO, namely, a value of target voltage Vout* outputted by a target voltage setting part 31 gradually as time elapses.
