PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly and stably maintain the precision of interference compensation in a radio relay transmitting device, a radio relay transmission system and a radio relay transmitting method which are applied with MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output). SOLUTION: This radio relay transmission system, which is provided with a transmitter for dividing an information signal into a plurality of transmission sequences and individually transmitting the information signal as a radio signal of one and the same frequency from a plurality of antennas, and a receiver having a means for receiving radio signals retransmitted under relay of the radio signal by a plurality of antennas, estimating a propagation path for each antenna from the radio signals, dividing the radio signals into signals corresponding to the plurality of transmission sequences, respectively demodulating the divided signals and combining the demodulated signals, is also provided with: a means for receiving radio signals transmitted from the transmitter by a plurality of antennas and frequency-converting the received radio signals into one and the same frequency by using mutually synchronized local signals to respectively convert; and a means for individually retransmitting the radio signal converted in frequency from the plurality of antennas.
