APPARATUS FOR TESTING EFFICIENCY OF METHANOL FUEL CELL

A system for testing quality of a methanol fuel cell is provided to ensure excellent working and time efficiency by testing the quality of a plurality of methanol fuel cells at the same time, and to modify the concentration of aqueous methanol supplied to fuel cells in a simple manner. A system for testing quality of a methanol fuel cell comprises: a methanol tank(51) for storing methanol to be used for driving a methanol fuel cell; a mixing chamber(53) for providing aqueous methanol with a desired concentration by mixing the methanol stored in the methanol tank with water supplied from the exterior; a fuel supply section(59) for supplying the aqueous methanol to each fuel cell to be tested; an air supply section(65) for supplying air to each fuel cell so as to generate electricity through chemical reactions in the fuel cell; a condensing section connected to each fuel cell and carrying out condensation of water steam discharged from the exterior of the fuel cell; a water supplying section(75) for supplying the water condensed by the condensing section to the mixing chamber so that the water is mixed with methanol in the mixing chamber; and a control section(83,89) for modifying the flow of aqueous methanol and air and the concentration of aqueous methanol and for checking the output of the fuel cell to determine the quality of the fuel cell.
