A method for providing personalized media based on the condition of a user for a car media player and a computer-readable medium having a program for the same are provided to sort stored media files according to the genres and to play the media files suitable for the driver state automatically without inputting characters. A method for providing personalized media based on the condition of a user for a car media player comprises the steps of: sorting playable media files based on a predetermined sorting standard and storing the media files in a media list(S110); acquiring information on driver's conditions(S120); and selecting a proper media file among the media lists based on the information and providing the media to the driver(S130).
