PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering controlling device capable of effectively restraining deflection generated to a vehicle while restraining a difference of right and left steering torques. SOLUTION: This steering controlling device is suitably utilized to generate an assist torque relative to a steering torque inputted by a driver. More concretely, the steering controlling device assists the steering according to an assisting characteristic set to provide an assist torque in a direction opposite to a deflection direction of the vehicle in a predetermined range including an original point, at which the steering torque is 0. Thereby, when the deflection occurs to the vehicle, the steering torque in a direction opposite to the deflection direction of the vehicle can be properly provided while the steering torque is almost 0. Therefore, the steering controlling device can effectively restrain the deflection generated to the vehicle at the time of linear traveling while restraining a difference of right and left steering torques.
