PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solution composition providing a liquid crystal polyester film having high-degree dimensional stability and excellent low warpage properties without using a means for highly filling a filler damaging the flexibility. SOLUTION: The solution composition containing≥0.1 wt.% of a liquid polyester A is obtained by dissolving the liquid polyester A containing 10-35 mol% of at least one structural unit selected from the group consisting of a constituent unit derived from an aromatic diamine and a structural unit derived from an aromatic amine having a phenolic hydroxy group based on the total of the whole constituent units, and reducing the molecular weight. The intrinsic viscosity of the liquid crystal polyester A before the reduction of the molecular weight, measured at 40°C by forming a 0.2 g/dl solution in 3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenol as a solvent is≥1.2, and the intrinsic viscosity measured at 25°C by forming a 0.5 g/dl solution by diluting the solution obtained by reducing the molecular weight of the liquid crystal polyester A is 0.5-1.0.
