PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic disk device provided with a suspension mechanism in which the floating stability of a head slider is secured and a wiring structure formed integrally with the suspension mechanism is prevented from being broken. SOLUTION: The magnetic disk device of a head lift system has: the suspension mechanism having a load beam 31 and a flexure 30 joined to one side surface of the load beam 31 contrary to the surface of a recording medium; and a ramp block on which the suspension mechanism runs and with which the main body thereof comes into contact when rotation of the recording medium is suspended.
