PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image sensor capable of ensuring the amount of saturated charges of a white pixel while suppressing dark current. SOLUTION: Depths D1, D3 and D 4 of accumulating layers 19a, 19c and 19e of an R pixel 12a, a B pixel 12c and a W pixel 12e are each determined based on the magnitude of the wavelengths of light to be received by the layers 19a, 19c and 19e or the quantity of incident light. Since lights of almost all wavelengths are incident in the accumulating layer 19e of the W pixel 12e, the amount of light incident in the accumulating layer 19e is larger than that of each of the other accumulating layers 19a, 19c. A red (R) light has a wavelength longer than that of each of a blue (B) light. As a result, formula D4>D1>D3 is established. Accordingly, the amount of saturated charges can be sufficiently ensured in the accumulating layer 19e, and a useless part is eliminated from the accumulating layer 19c receiving each light of a short wavelength blue (B) band, thereby the dark current can be reduced.
