PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallized film capacitor which is suitable for use in a hybrid car and can exhibit stable characteristics even in an severe temperature cycle condition of -40 to +120°C. SOLUTION: A capacitor element 6 is housed in a case 9 made of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), and sealed with a resin 11 filled in the case 9, and the case 9 including the sealed capacitor element 6 is housed in an aluminum-made case 12 via an inter-case bonding resin. In this case, the PPS case 9 consists of PPS having glass fiber content of 50-85 wt.%, and a silicone resin doped with a silane coupling agent is used as the inter-case bonding resin 13, and the silicon resin is filled in the bottom of the aluminum-made case 12.
