PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem in an automation of dubbing that there is a case to be dubbed by a dubbing method against user's intention. SOLUTION: This dubbing method is characterized by including: an acquisition step to acquire an attribute of a dubbing destination recording medium and an attribute of digital data; a discrimination step to judge a practicable dubbing class by a combination of the dubbing destination recording medium and the digital data from two attribute information items acquired by the acquisition step; a creation step to create a list for every dubbing class by classifying the digital data for every dubbing class on the basis of the discrimination result in the discrimination step; a display step to display the list for every dubbing class created by the creation step to the user; and a changeover step to change the practicing dubbing class by changing over the list for every dubbing class which is displayed by the display step, to other list for every dubbing class by the user.
