PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analyzing apparatus and a managing method capable of easily and appropriately controlling purified water to be used in the analyzing apparatus. SOLUTION: When purified water in the analyzing apparatus is determined to be polluted based on information on analyzing treatment, the analyzing apparatus 1 switches a switching valve 167 that is provided at a connecting location with a tube 166 in a connecting tube 169 connecting a draining tube 168 and the tube 166 in which purified water circulates, from the side of the tube 166 to the side of the connecting tube 169, to automatically drain polluted purified water via the connecting tube 169 to the draining tube 168.
