PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact micro-device with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: In a micro-motor 1, the contact angle between a hydrophobic film 7 and a liquid is changed periodically along the circumferential direction by using an electro-wetting. Consequently, a rotating disk 6 floated above a liquid bulging section 3 can be rotated at a specified rotational speed by using a surface tension. A fixing member for fixing the rotating disk 6 and a complicate machine configuration such as a stator are not required unlike a conventional motor, thereby providing a compact micro-motor 1 with a simple configuration.
