PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information transmission system for transmitting a message relating position information of a mobile phone to specific information including information about a place. SOLUTION: The information transmission system comprises a mobile phone. A message creating section is provided for creating a first message which includes specific information including information about a place and position information of another mobile phone different from the mobile phone and is transmitted to at least one of the mobile phone and another message receiving means. The position information is obtained by transforming into an area name information obtained by at least one of positioning methods among a plurality of base station positioning methods and a GPS positioning method.
