FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus concerns medicine, particularly to physiotherapy exercises, and can to be used for self-massaging during treatment of diseases. The self-massage apparatus comprises elements for multiple point influence on the patient's body surface. The apparatus is a hollow sphere of the diametre 20-30 cm, made of a nonconducting material filled with air in 85-90% of its volume. On the external surface, there are truncated conic pins; their tips contain a cup recess with its surface covered with a conducting material; there is a spring-loaded round electrode in the recess. The surface of the cup recess of 50% of the pins is connected with an output of a low-frequency electric pulse generator provided in an apparatus. The spring-loaded round electrodes are in turn connected with an input of the low-frequency electric pulse generator; the electric elements in the other pins are connected on the contrary with an input of the surface of the cup recesses, and the spring-loaded round elements - with an output of the low-frequency electric pulse generator. ^ EFFECT: high therapeutic effect ensured by combined action of mechanical and electric factors on massaged regions of the body. ^ 2 dwg |
