A method of interaction between a customer and a business which sells goods or services at a business location is disclosed. The customer is provided with an identity card which contains a radio frequency identification tag containing information about the customer. Audio, video or audio and video broadcast units at various sites throughout the business location are provided. The broadcast units comprise a radio frequency identification tag reader. The customer information contained in the radio frequency identification tag located in the customer's identity card is read and one or more commercial messages appropriate to a particular customer, when the customer's radio frequency identification tag is in the vicinity of the broadcast unit is broadcasted. Further provided is a method of interaction between a customer and a business which sells goods or services at a business location where each item or the container for each item selected by the customer is provided with a radio frequency identification tag containing information about the item. The item information contained in the radio frequency identification tag located in the customer's identity card is read by the a radio frequency identification tag of the above described broadcast units and one or more commercial messages appropriate to a appropriate to a selected item when the item selected by the customer is in the vicinity of the broadcast unit is broadcasted.
