Universal self-leveling dispenser useful for food services. Apertures in the elevator platform mount tubular guides for divider rods and provide air circulation for heating and cooling articles on the platform. Heating and cooling units are installable to replace bottom and side walls. Unimpeded air paths below the elevator platform, together with apertures of the platform and particular placement of the temperature changing units provide self-adjusting air flow paths that depend upon where the articles are stacked.
