摘要 <p>1312366 Regulating fluid flow HONEYWELL Inc 16 Dec 1970 [7 Jan 1970] 59702/70 Heading G3H A multi-stage fluidic amplifier 10, having a number of amplifying stages arranged to operate in series, comprises a pair of control nozzles 12, 13 and a plurality of power nozzles 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 which are connected to independant pressure sources 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28 and which with the exception of nozzle 18, are so arranged that each nozzle structurally transversely intersects the axis of nozzle in the next preceding stage. The nozzle 18 of the amplifier last stage has disposed directly opposite thereto a collector nozzle 19, the latter nozzle being connected to a transducer 29. Taking P 24 to represent the pressure at power nozzle 14 as supplied by source 24, then it is preferred that the power nozzles are connected to sources of pressure which satisfy the relationship: In operation, if the control pressure within nozzle 13 is greater than the same within nozzle 12, power jet 34 issuing from nozzle 14 is deflected accordingly and so acts to deflect power jet 35. Subsequently jet 35 deflects jet 36 which in turn deflects jet 37. The last mentioned jet deflects power jet 38 and so alters the proportion of liquid fluid collected in nozzle 19. The entire amplifier is contained within a closed box-like chamber 11 to eliminate extraneous disturbances. Fig.3, (not shown), depicts a modified amplifier wherein the various power nozzles are arranged symmetrically about the last stage power nozzle, the latter being acted upon by two power nozzles of the preceding stage and being directed towards a pair of collector nozzles.</p>
