A torch for the thermochemical processing of work pieces has at least one channel for the processing oxygen and at least one channel for the fuel gas and heating oxygen mixture-components in the form of separate channels for the components or a single channel for the mixture. The processing oxygen channel has a depression at its outlet with the depression being at an angle of 90 DEG -150 DEG and preferably 120 DEG .
